"Samuel Norman Ferguson - born in Cameron.
"Many of his family are buried in Cameron.
"He married Annie Wooten - born in Bladen Co. south of
Elizabethtown along the Cape Fear River.
"I have the wedding portrait of Samuel & Annie Ferguson. A lot of
this family is buried in a church cemetery near Bladenboro.
"Education was very important to this family. William Angus
graduated from Davidson (College) and became county auditor for Bladen
County for over 30 years. He was in my father's class.
"Annie Ferguson became a nurse.
"Lula left college after her second year to get married."
