This Indenture made the 16th day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight Hundred and fourteen Between William Fisher of the County of Lincoln & State of North Carolina planter of the County one part and Richd Fisher of the same State and County of the other part Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of fifty five pounds in hand paid to the said William Fisher by the said Richd Fisher the Receipt and payment whereof is hereby ackd Therefore the said William Fisher hath granted bargained and sold aliened Enfeoffed Conveyed and Confirmed and by these presents doth give grant bargain sell alien enfeoff and Confirm unto the said Richard Fisher his heirs and assigns forever a tract or parcel of land formerly Granted to the said William Fisher by Virtue of A Deed made to him by the Co Heirs of the Estate of Stephen Fisher Decd Bearing Date Septr 1813. recorded being had &c &c lying on the West side of the Catawba river and waters of Beaverdam Branch in the County of Lincoln & bounded as follows Viz Beginning at a Small Hickory at the Corner of the Widow Longs fence thence West 131 poles to a Stake in a pile of Stones then running South to and with Archibald Flemmings line 124 poles to a Red oak then East 131 poles to a Small pine on Robert Knoxes line them North 69 poles to a Stake on the South Side of the said William & Richard Fishers Spring Branch then up the branch West six poles to a and two thirds ^to a Stake then N. running & crossing the middle of the spring 3 poles to Maple then E. 6 2/3 poles Crossing the branch to the South side to a Stake near to a large White oak then North 54 poles to the Begining Containing by Estimation 101 acres be the same more or less. To Have and to Hold the aforesaid land and premises Together with all woods waters Mines minerals Hereditaments & appurtenances to the said land in any wise appertaining to the said Richard Fisher his heirs & assigns forever from the said William Fisher his heirs Exrs. Admrs. and from all and every other person or persons Claiming or to Claim the same by virtue of the said William Fisher The said William Fisher doth Covenant and agree for himself & his heirs Exrs Admrs and assigns to and with the said Richard Fisher that at any time hereafter he the said William Fisher or his heirs Exrs or Assigns will sign any Just Claim Deed or other Instrument of writing for the better or more perfect or Just claiming the aforementioned land and premises Conveyed his or their full right & Authority that he the said William Fisher hath by virtue of any Deed or right whatsoever of the tract or parcel of land to him the said Richard Fisher his heirs Executors Admrs or assigns forever In Witness Whereof the said William Fisher hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and Year first above written
