These cookie recipes are all kid tested. I have gathered them from all over and love them all!

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
These are my absolute favorites!

Cream butter, Crisco and sugar. Beat in peanut butter, egg & vanilla. Combine flour, oats, baking soda and salt. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 350 deg. 10-12 min.

Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies
My kids love these!

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup butter flavored Crisco
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
Cream sugar and Crisco. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add brown sugar, baking soda, peanut butter, milk, flour and salt. Roll into balls and roll in brown sugar. Bake at 375 deg. for 10-15 min. Cookies will be about 2" round. Put chocolate kiss on them while still hot.

M & M Cookies
Blend:

  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
Beat in:
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
Stir in 1 cup M & M's. Bake at 365 degrees for 10 minutes.

Molasses Cookie
This is one from Martha Stewart. It is very good!

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 1/2 cup shortening, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
Combine all ingredients - stir in oatmeal last. Bake on lightly greased cookie sheets at 375 degres. Bake cookies until brown and crisp, about 12 minutes.

Best Ever Sugar Cookies
They really are good!

  • 1 cup softened margarine
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 4 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream margarine and sugars. Add oil and eggs, mixing well. Blend remaining ingredients. If desired, dough can be chilled. Drop dough on lightly greased cookie sheets. Dip the bottom of a glass in sugar and flatten dough. Bake 12 to 15 minutes.

Pecan Fingers
I always make these at Christmas!

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • Salt
Cream butter and powdered sugar. Mix in rest. Chill. Form into finger sized shapes. Bake in 250 degree oven for one hour. Roll in powdered sugar.
