Aha, finally a pic of The PenSans Brewer !! That's me mashing-in early one morning. One of the benefits of living in Pretoria (South Africa) is that the weather is usually great . . . just perfect in fact. I get plenty of fresh air on brew days !
Note the sprinkle technique for mashing in. If you drop it all at once from a dizzy height the mash will suffer. Just sprinkle it a jug at a time and then break up the clumps with barbeque tongs.
