A close-up view of the geyser thermocouple pocket as it enters the fermentor.
The temperature probe enters the fridge through a hole in the side wall and then slots neatly into the thermocouple pocket. Its quite a trick to get a thin washer on the outside to seal it though. You find the right pieces eventually ! As mentioned elsewhere in this set of pictures, measuring your fementation temperature directly in the middle of the fermentor has its merits !
