FREE Installations for the
first 30 days.
|
Customers can avoid our normal installation
fee of $24.95, by signing up within 30 days of their move
in date. A copy of your Housing Acceptance Form or if you live
in a barracks (with a letter from your billeting manager), will be required
at the time of installation to waive the installation fee.
If you cannot provide a copy that day, you will be charged $24.95.
Service members on TDY, TAD, Emergency,
Convalescent, or as a DODDS Teacher School on Leave will be able to disconnect
their cable service while they are gone. (To disconnect, call our
off'ice to schedule an appointment, you do not need to be there.)
Within 30 days of your return, again call the AMERICABLE to schedule your
reconnection. These orders cannot be done at the same time.
A copy of your orders will be required again at the time of installation
to waiver the fee.
Installation times are available
Monday through Friday, AM slots are between 8:00 and 12:00 and PM slots
are between 1:00 and 5:00. (Due to traffic conditions some outer
bases have other constraints.) If your house has not been previously
wired or you would like a outlet moved, the installation may take up to
an hour and a half. If your house is already wired and no outlets
need to be moved it could take as little as 20 minutes.

Please note that on all duplexes and
multiplexes the additional outlets will only be installed in the bedroom
located at the back side of the house. No exceptions will
be made.
A cable ready TV/VCR is needed to
fully access all of our channels. If you happen to have a Multi System
or European
model TV/VCR, you will not be able
to fully access all of our channels.
