1997 were elected at the
April meeting. David Boyd
was elected president. Vice-
president is Paul Jones. John
Warren Oakes is secretary.
Treasurer is Rumse Butler.
Events coordinator is Charles
Hogan.

MINUTES

At the April 6, 1996 meeting
at the Hobby Crossing
officers for 1996-1997 were
elected
sHOw T-shirts will be worn
at the May EXPO at the
Institute for Economic
Development in Bowling
Green. Cost is $10.00 per
shirt.
The May EXPO is scheduled
for May 10-11 and 13th,
1996. Your assigned times to
operate trains or host are
listed on the sheet attached
to this newsletter.
On April 11th modules were
set up and location assign-
ments were determined.

Charie Hogan designed and
constructed a slotted wood
connector to maintain the
alignment of the backdrops
These will be painted the
blue of the sky boards.
Set up for the May EXPO is
May 9th, 1996 frp, 6:00 P.M.
to 7:00 P.M.
Bruce Simmons of the Hobby
Crossing invited the sHOw
Club to construct and scenic
an in store layout. Hobby
Crossing will pay for materi-
als. This project will begin
this summer.
Paul Schnoes is to check with
Kathie Curtis regarding
retired L&N employees serv-
ing as hosts for the May
EXPO.
Certificates of appreciation
will be sent to those persons
facilitating this EXPO.
A sHOw home page will be
designed this summer for the
World Wide Web.

CROSSING
Bruce Simmons is now at
Hobby Crossing and wants to
know what you need in
model railroad equipment
and supplies.

EXPO
The sHOw Modular Model
Railroad Club will present a
Model Train EXPO at the
Institue for Economic
Development on the
Nashville Road in Bowling
Green, KY on Friday May
10th, 8:30 A.M.-2:30 P.M.,
Saturday May 11th, 9:00
A.M.-5:00 P.M. and Monday
May 13th, 8:40 A.M.-2:30
P.M. 1996.
Friday and Monday are
reserved for area school chil-
dren. Saturday is open to the
public. All events are free.
