On Lake Champlain, the Aids to Navigation Team doesn't have to stay out for long periods of time like ocean going tenders in the Coast Guard. However, when the ATON team does have to stay out for several nights, this is the berthing area where they stay on board the boat. It has all the comforts of home, even though it is a little cramped.
