**Japan and Madagascar are definitely good places to own, especially
at the end. Many players will forget to plan their ending turn in a
way to get in and back out of those countries.

**The "divide and conquer" stategy is sometimes a good one. But,
spreading your troops around doesn't seem to work well in this game.
Do like Hitler and build up a very stong "main force" and "explode"
with them.

**The key to color is you opponent's eyes. Choose his/her eye color
when playing Risk.

**The Zulu warriors in South Africa and Madicascar always do well,
only one or two men seem to be able to hold off large forces. The
Aboriginies in Eastern Australia are good defenders as well.

**When placing armies in the beginning, try not to compete for the
same continent with only one other person. You are very likely to
weaken each other in the first few rounds, and a third opponent is
very likely to take advantage of that.

**On a major campaign, use "Conquering Music." My favorites are
"Ride of the Valkaries," "Light Cavalry," and any Wagner opera. It
