IJN Yamato # 108 Commissioned 9 days after Pearl Harbor. Used as Yamamoto's flagship at Midway, served basically as a floating HQ from late 42-44, not doing much of anything. Adm. Kurita's flag [after Atago was sunk] at Leyte Gulf. Sunk en route to Oikinawa in April of 1945 after being hit by 11-13 aerial torpedoes and 7-10 bombs
IJN Mushashi # 109 sank Oct.24/44 in the Sibuyan Sea, south of Luzon after sustaining 20 torpedo hits and 17 bombs
IJN Shinano # 110 After the disaster at Midway, conversion started on her to convert to CV. While moving to Kure for fitting out on Nov 29, '44, hit by 4 torpedoes from USS Archerfish
