The American Legion School Award is the highest honor the Legion gives to American youth. The students of the graduating class and their instructors vote on who will be the recipients of the award. One award is given to the gentleman and lady chosen by the class with the runners-up receiving special mention. The winners have demonstrated by action the highest ideals of citizenship and service to others.

“Our Post is very pleased to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of the students in this area with the American Legion School Award,” said Post Americanism Chairman Jerome Goolsby.
