Tom, Marian, Sandra and Carol   waiting to board the plane. We are on our way... This is the last leg of the flight Seattle to  Venice.

It was planned some time ago. We are going to celebrate the year 2000 together with relatives in Slovenia. It was Sandra's idea to get all of her father's brothers and sisters and their relatives together in their homeland and get better acquainted. To keep in touch and to know one another better. It was an ambitious plan to convince all the North American relatives to make a trip to Europe at about the same time. The year 2000 offered a good opportunity. After communications across the continent and the oceans it was agreed on beginning of August. All we needed was a couple of days of celebration. School vacation time had a lot to do with it. We were very sorry that Ivo, the oldest brother did not come.

These beautiful Cumulus clouds are scattered over France and almost to the coast of Adriatic. We were looking forward to Venice.
