Onion Creek trail is a smooth fast finish to the rougher first half of this loop. This trail starts after crossing through a washed out area and turning right on the main road
I would imagine this trail gets its name from the sulfer feed creek running through the canyon that has changed the color of the rocks to an onion color.
After following a wide valley for a few miles the trail quickly drops down into a tight canyon for a few miles. The rocks towering above are from the Dewey Formation.
If you look to the left you will one of the 900ft tall Fisher Towers above the canyon wall
The trail as it enters part of the canyon.
To get close to Fisher Towers turn to a lesser trail to the right as the trail comes out of the canyon and into the wider valley.
Castle Valley
Castel Valley.
Directions: As Rose Garden Hill trail ends turn right after a washed out area. Follow trail to hwy 128. To complete the loop back to the Dewey Bridge parking area you must be street legeal.
