Welcome to the students of teacher
Laima Stanciauskiene at
the Juozas Luksa Gymnasium, Lithuania
We originally come from Lithuania. It is a small, nice country. Lithuania is situated near the Baltic Sea. The population of Lithuania is 3,6 million. Although this number diminishes every year.

Under those circumstances we, 4 students from the gymnasium named after Juozas Luksa in Garliava (a little town about 10 kilometres away from Kaunas), have been interested in this social problem. Our names are: Gediminas Alzbutas, Ruta Katiliute, Darius Rukavicius and Vilius Levickas.

So we attempted to elucidate what situation would be and what destiny would we suffer if the present position didn't change. Our investigations and counting are generalized as well as presented in our work. "The situation of demography and our forecasts". This work has already won the recognition in the annual competition "The Fair of Ideas" of our gymnasium.
