The Magic Iceball

One day there was a snowball.  It was not an orange snowball, it was a magic snowball.  One day a boy put it into a pond and it got bright and it got icy.  He called it iceball and brought it home and put juice on it. It offered the boy two wishes. The boy asked for a new house and a Big Bug book then it disappeared. The ice ball never came back but the boy was happy because he was granted his two wishes.

The Kite

My kite, my kite flying
in the sky.  Pretty, pretty
kite won't you be mine?
How pretty can you be.
My little kite, how nice
can you be.

The Flying Angel

Once when I was walking,
I heard something talking.
I looked in front, I looked
in back.  I saw nothing but
awet potato sack.  I looked
down, I looked way, way, up
and I saw it in the air, singing
a song.  It was white with a halo.
I looked at it, it looked at me.
I asked it to fly.  It said not
a word, but went on to fly.  It
flew and flew until I said, "Stop!"
"What's your name?"
I heard it whisper, "Angelique".

Annie

Annie has bright red hair,
Rainbow dresses are all
she wears.  We have tons of fun
when we play out in the sun.
I made her out of a paper plate
and now she's a good playmate.

Vanessa, 4th grade

The White Flower

I made it for Valentine's Day.
It can hold a variety of things
You can decorate it and give it
to a loved one.  I made this because
I couldn't get any flowers for my mom.

Marco, 5th grade.
