The Lying Shepherd
A bored and lonely shepherd had this idea to ask for help, saying that a wolf was attacking his flocks.
Some villagers came to rescue the sheep but they saw it was a joke. Even if the villagers reproached that to him, the shepherd repeated the joke, thinking that it was fun. The third time, when the wolves really attacked the flock nobody came to help him.
The shepherd was left without some of his sheep.
