The Wolf, the Goat
and the Cabbage
A peasant was coming back from
the market. He bought a wolf, a goat and a cabbage.
Reaching a river, he had
to cross it swimming. But how should he proceed?
If he had passed first the
wolf, the goat would have eaten the cabbage. If he had passed the river
only the cabbage with, the wolf would have eaten the goat.
First he decide to pass
the goat, than the wolf, he took it on the other side, than he came back
with the goat.
He left the goat where he
took it from first, took the cabbage and put it with the wolf on the other
side. At last, he went and took the goat and left happy to home.
