HEALTH
TIP Many of us fail
to consider the risk and danger of cleaning products kept in the house,
whether they be in the kitchen, bathroom or garage. In our house ,
as in most, they are kept under the sink or often in a lower cabinet
in our garage and as with small children, this can prove to be dangerous,
sometimes fatal when pets are around! An inquisitive puppy with a
"pokey" nose can get into quite a lot of trouble in a very
short time. When puppy and pet proofing your home, DON'T forget those
cabinets. If you suspect
your pet has gotten into something they shouldn't have...or if you've
just used a cleaning product near your pets and see unexplained symtoms,
CALL YOUR VET IMMEDIATELY! Take special caution when using a new product in your home! |

A good
explanation about what CERF is and why it's important. Eye problems
are an issue in Labradors and having their eyes checked out is just
as important as checking their hips for possible problems. |

Virtually every pet owner has, at one time been confronted with a pet that has behaved less than desirably in some way. Most pet owners can certainly relate to the frustration over a dog or cat that is not reliably housetrained, the sense of rejection due to a destructive pet, or to the anxiety caused by an aggressive pet. One of Dr. Schwartz's goals is to resolve behavioral problems in pets before their owner's tolerance and love are lost. Great Behavioral Tips |
