Our Birds

We initially purchased 4 pairs from the Molkentin stud and 2 pairs from Arthur Windell.
We then purchased 3 pairs of Lutino's to start our Lutino line. This was our initial stock.
Since then we have purchased a number of birds from the Molkentin Stud and done
away with all the Lutino's and other lines we bred. Our birds have steadily improved
over the years. In 2001 we imported 2 cocks from Fred Wright to start a different
line to run alongside our Molkentin line. We now have two lines in our aviary which
are tracked closely on our record system to ensure they do not become closely related
although the original hens used on the two Fred Wright cocks were from the Molkentin
stock we had bred. Our stud is now exclusively based on Molkentin birds.
