Vote Responsibly!

Know your candidate's voting record! For candidates who were members of Congress, you can find their voting record at THOMAS, http://thomas.loc.gov/. Thomas is an excellent resource and I would highly recommend you use it to check for issues which are important to you, and keep track of your representative's (or senator's) voting record on that issue. If you are ready for it, you could then write a letter to your representative (or senator) commending or disagreeing with his vote, according to your position.

The more Americans who do this, the better we can maintain a truly democratic government.

Follow this link for my page on the current 2004 election.

For convenience, I have assembled tables of Congressional voting records for the current incumbents / members of the House below:

If you are pro-life or pro-choice issues are important to you, then you may want to see your representative's voting record on some key bills:

2002 Maryland Gubernatorial Election

Maryland Election Districts have changed! Visit Maryland's guide to the highly-debated redistricting which has occurred due to the 2000 Census results at http://www.mdp.state.md.us/redistrict/.

Below is some information on candidates in the 2002 election. The selection of candidates and issues necessarily reveals my personal bias, but I have made every effort to obtain accurate information, for my own benefit.
