Baird, Polly (Ballet Chorus) has danced children's
roles at Lincoln Center with the New York City Ballet, ABT and the
Kirov. She is in her tenth year of training at the School of American

Barker, Gary (M. Reyer) created the role of Jean
Valjean in the national touring production of Les Miserables which
earned him the 1989 Carbonell Award and also performed in the Broadway
and LA companies. Other credits include Me and My Girl; On he Twentieth
century; Evita (Zurich) and Charles Strouse's The Future of the American
Musical among others.

Barton, Steve (Raoul, The Phantom), after performing
exclusively in Europe for the past 10 years, returns home to make
his Broadway debut as Raoul, a role he originated in London. A native
Arkansan but a “naturalized Texan,” Steve attended the
University of Texas as a multi-scholarship student, where he appeared
in over 30 productions before moving to Switzerland to join the Stadttheatre
St. Gallen (direction – Dr. Wolfgang Zoerner) with his wife,
dancer, and choreographer Denny Berry. No stranger to works of Andrew
Lloyd Webber, Steve appeared as Munkustrap in CATS for Gillian Lynne
in Vienna, as Magaldi in Hal Prince’s production of Evita in
Munich and in Jesus Christ Superstar for Helmut Baumann in both Vienna
and Berlin. Other credits include Curly in William Hammerstein’s
production of Oklahoma! in Berlin and leading roles in European productions
of La Cage aux Folles, Camelot, On the Town, Godspell, The Fantasticks,
Romeo and Juliet, Company and the Berliner Kurt Weill Revue. He
has appeared on numerous TV specials in Germany and has directed and
choreographed productions of Guys and Dolls, West Side Story and
the ballet Zergliederung Einer Frau.

Batman, Elena Jeanne (Page, Wardrobe Mistress/Confidante,
Carlotta) joins this company after playing Carlotta on Broadway. Born
in Albuquerque, NM, she grew up in Colorado. Prior to The Phantom
of the Opera, she lived and worked in Chicago, where she made
her debut as Queen of the Night ("The Magic Flute") and appeared in
the Ravinia Festival with Maestro James Levine. She has been a soprano
soloist with the Breckenridge Festival Orchestra, Chicago Bar Symphony,
Larimer Choral Society, Greeley Philharmonic and Pueblo Choral Society.
Roles include Angelina ("Trial by Jury"), Anna Leonowens ("The King
and I"), Suor Angelica ("Suor Angelica"), Madame Goldentrill ("The
Impressario") the Mother ("Amahl and the Night Visitors") and Violetta
("La Traviata"). She created the role of Marie in the world premiere
of Seymour Barab's opera "A Piece of String." She recorded several
arias for Manhatten Theatre Club's production of "Jenny Keeps Talking."
She recently completed a tour of "The Magic Flute" with New York City
Opera, where she performed the role of Queen of the Night. Elena thanks
her teachers, friends, family and husband Kelly for their love and
support.

Berry, Denny (Ballet Swing/Dance Captain) has
been responsible for all five American productions of Phantom
as Gillian Lynne's associate choreographer as well as for the recent
Mexican production and for casting the Hamburg production. She was
associate choreographer to Anthony Van Laast for the recent Broadway
production of Jesus Christ Superstar. On her own, she wrote,
directed and choreographed A Soul Wailing in Darkness and is
currently at work on the musical theatre piece Orphan Trains.
At home in opera, operetta, musicals and ballet, she has created work
from Vienna to Zurich to London, including A Christmas Carol/Kevin
Moriarty/Trinity Rep; Street Scene/Francesca Zambello/Houston Grand
Opera; Lord of the Rings/Berlin; 110 in the Shade/Live Oak Theatre;
Tango in Ebony, Only A Prelude/Friends of Vienna State Opera. She
is a graduate of the University of Texas Department of Theater and
Dance, where she was honored with an endowed Presidential Scholarship.

Bibb, Teri (Christine Daae Alt.) played Christine
Daaé in The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway and with
the national tour, during which she sang for both former President
Clinton and for former President Bush at a command performance at
the White House, and earned a Helen Hayes Award nomination and a Carbonell
Award. Also on Broadway: Amalia in She Loves Me (stand by).
Regionally, she created the role of the Mother in the world premiere
of Songs From the Tall Grass at the Ford’s Theatre. Ms.
Bibb has been a featured soloist in tributes honoring Lord Andrew
Lloyd Webber, Stephen Sondheim, and Harold Prince, including The
Broadway Prince at Carnegie Hall and e Night of 1,000 Stars
at London's Royal Albert Hall. In 1997, she sang duets with tenor
José Carreras at Radio City Music Hall. She can be heard on
three recordings: "Unsung Irving Berlin", "Sondheim Tonight" and "A
Gala Concert for Hal Prince". In LA, she sang the role of Clara in
the Reprise!/MTG concert performance of Sondheim's Passion,
and played Lily in The Secret Garden at South Bay CLO.

Blaisdell, Torrance (Ensemble; Piangi u/s) Torrance Blaisdell has appeared on opera stages throughout the United States, including the Central City and Sarasota opera companies, Glimmerglass Opera and Des Moines Metro. For New York’s American Opera Projects he was Santa in A Flurry Tale, and at New York City Opera he sang in productions of Turandot and Tales of Hoffman. Mr. Blaisdell has participated in operatic broadcasts on PBS and has recorded The Ballad of Baby Doe for Newport Classics, singing three roles: Old Silver Miner, President Arthur, and the Mayor of Leadville. Next fall he will sing with Kentucky Opera and Michigan Opera Theatre.

Brady, Brigid (Christine Daae?) Brigid Brady was on Broadway in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, and performed in the national tour of THE MUSIC OF ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER. Off-Broadway she was in CATHER COUNTY, and performed in regional theater productions of SHOWBOAT, SHE LOVES ME, A WONDERFUL LIFE, CANDIDE, and ELMER GANTRY. Ethan met her when she came for guitar lessons. Brigid later played the role of "The Mother" in a new musical version of THE RED BADGE OF COURAGE which Ethan is writing with lyricist/bookwriter Peter Morris.

Brightman, Sarah (Christine Daae)who created the role of Christine in the London production of The Phantom of the Opera made her West End debut at the age of 13 in I and Albert. She went on to appear on the London stage in the original company of Cats; Charles Strouse's Nightingales; The Pirates of Penzance and starred on BBC TV in Andrew Lloyd Webbers Song and Dance. In 1985 Sarah premiered Mr Lloyd Webbers Requiem in New York and London for which she received a Grammy award nomination for Best New Classical Artist. That year she also made her operatic debut as Valencienna in The Merry Widow for New Sadlers Wells Opera. Sarah is also a successful British recording artist with four top ten singles to her credits: I Lost My Heart to a Starship Trooper which she recorded as lead singer for Arlene Phillips rock group Hot Gossip(1978); Pie Jesu(1985); The Phantom of the Opera and All Ask of You(1986). She has two Number 1`albums to her credit: Requiem(classical charts 1985) and The Phantom of the Opera(1987) and has also appeared on the cast albums of Nightingale(1982) and Song and Dance(1984). Sarah can currently be heard as Carrie Pipperidge on the new MCA recording of Rodgers and Hammersteins Carousel and on a solo recording of Benjamin Briiten folk songs on the HMV Angel label. The Phantom of the Opera marks her Broadway debut.

Bryant, Kimilee (Christine Daae) is excited to return to the Broadway company of Phantom! Ms. Bryant garnered rave reviews for her portrayal of Christine as she toured the U.S. with the third national company. She also performed the role in the Swiss premiere of the show in Basel, Switzerland. Most recently she was the winner of the South Carolina Metropolitan Opera Auditions. New York City credits: Polly/The Beggar's Opera (The National Opera Association), Bianca/The Taming of the Shrew (John Brownlee Opera Association) and Phyllis/Iolanthe (NY Gilbert & Sullivan Players). Other roles include Maria/West Side Story, Laurey/Oklahoma!, Julie Jordan/Carousel, Eliza/My Fair Lady and Hope/Anything Goes. Kimilee is a native of South Carolina where she received her Bachelor of Music from Converse College and performed with the Spartanburg and Greenville symphonies. Ms. Bryant earned her Master's Degree from the Manhattan School of Music. She has performed with Aspen Opera Theatre & Brevard Music Center and was the recipient of a Talent Preliminary Award at The Miss America Pageant where she represented her home state.

Buffaloe, Katherine (Christine Daae) most recently
completed a tour of Japan performing the role of Eliza Doolittle in
My Fair Lady. She appeared on Broadway in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor
Dreamcoat and as Julia in Copperfield. She has recently been a favorite
leading lady at the Kennedy Center portraying Julie Jordan in Carousel
and Marion in West Side Story. She toured nationally as Lily in Annie
and last season appeared on PBS' The All Night Strut. Favorite credits
include Joseph Papps Non Pasquale; Ellen in Alias; Jimmy Valentine;
Rosa in Rags; Suzanne in Dumas(a new play about Alexander Dumas) and
Agnes in Moliere's School for Wives. She recently recorded for CD
release the role of Mina in Possessed the Dracula musical which she
performed last year under the direction of the late Morton Da Costa.
Ms Buffaloe is pleased to be a grantee from the National Institute
for Music Theatre.

Buterbaugh, Keith (Swing, Raoul) Keith Buterbaugh
has appeared in the Broadway production and national tour of The
Phantom of the Opera as both the Phantom and Raoul, and was honoured
to sing the Phantom in a special performance of the show's excerpts
at the White House. He most recently appeared as Giorgio in Steven
Sonheim's Passion and a Wintergreen in Of Thee I Sing.
Other performances include off-Broadway playing Julien in Mademeoiselle
Colombe starring Tammy Grimes, and The Count in The Marriage
of Figaro with the Cincinnati Opera. As a concert artist, he has
sung with the National Symphony in France and the Triests Symphony
in Italy. His ongoing engagements with Skiych Henderson have found
him performing with the New York Pops at carnegie Hall, and he is
an original member of Bravo Broadway!. Keith is especially thankful
for the constant support of his wife, Sarah, and his children.
