Actor Biographies: O

O'Leary, Thomas James (M. Reyer, The Phantom) is thrilled the return to the Broadway Company of The Phantom of the Opera. Tom's performance as the Phantom was critically-acclaimed throughout the country while he toured for a year and a half with the third national company. Previously, Tom appeared in the Broadway company as Monsieur Reyer and Monsieur Andre. Tom was also in the original Broadway cast of Miss Saigon as Captain Schultz, a featured role he recorded for The Complete Recording of Miss Saigon. Tom appeared as Freddy in the national tour of Chess, directed by Des McAnuff, and was in the original cast of the first national tour of Les Miserables. Other favorite roles include Che in Evita, Will Parker in Oklahoma and Colin in Absent Friends. Tom received his B.F.A. in acting from the University of Connecticut, and trained at Trinity Rep Conservatory, before studying with his current teachers, Suzanne Shepherd (acting) and Bill Schuman (voice).

Otte, Eric (Slave Master), a Nebraska native, began his vocal training at the University of Kansas under John Stephens and on a dance scholarship at the Pacific Northwest Ballet. He later joined Ballet Omaha as soloist and Opera Omaha as an ensemble performer. Eric would like to thank his family for their constant love and support.
