How are Were's, Vampires and the Cynocephali connected ?Weres and Vampires could have come from them. I think that the Cynocephali are another genos of Man, like Neanderthal and Cro-magnon. Homo-sapiens are the modern equivalent Cro-magnon. Most scientists now agree that Neanderthal and Cro-magnon co-existed and even interbred with each other. They also agree that Neanderthals weren't as stupid as they once were described to be. So what if the Cynocephali also co-existed with each and interbred with each? What you would get is modern Man. That would back up the whole genetics theory. Because Man moved out of Africa and colonized the other continents and interbred with different bands of people along the way over and over again, that would explain why some people are weres and some aren't. That also explains why there are different races and why we all look different. So there have probably been weres since early Man learned to control fire.

The Cynocephali are a race often referred to as monsters, by many sources. Cynocephali Traits Found In Legend LoreA Simple List
1. The cynocephali were dog headed A Closer Examination Of The FactsUpon closer examination of the facts, one finds a radically different picture in church wood cuts of unusual icons. Regarding saints, such as Christopher, and Andrew, who were depicted as being dog headed in these wood cuts. There is also the tale of St. Mercurious in the Greek Orthodox religion, who was also a cynocephali. St. Augustine wrote of them as being the monstrous children of God and descendants of the first man, Adam. Claiming that they were also reflections of God, created in his own image. There are even woodcuts of Jesus preaching to the cynocephali in distant lands, and depictions of the cynocephali with peaceful natures after they had accepted those teachings. Who's savage natures could be reawakened at a saint's command, yet one must ask, was it divine influence? Or could it have been a much simpler thing? Trust and loyalty in one's faith, much like mankind is capable of, and their love for their faith. Again, a much more human trait that is not often attributed to 'monsters'. Again, one must make their own decision upon this matter, yet the facts are there. That suggest the cynocephali were more than just savage, brutal and horrific monster of legends. One other thing, upon closing. The cynocephali were also called werewolves. ~Banulf~ See also - An essay by Silver Flame on the Cynocephali See also - Banulfs Dream Cave More Cynocephali information to be added soon, please pop back soon.
