Introduction
Since the dawn of time, we have all feared the danger of the unknown and the unseen. The survival instinct which helped us to survive in a more primitive and dangerous environment.
Since the modern age has come about, most of us have lost this instinct. Until confronted by physical danger of some sort. This often occurs when a criminal
event that places us in danger of losing our lives. Yet when one speaks about violence occurring, no one ever thinks of the supernatural of of weres. Instead, because science has provided answers to almost everything, we rely on those facts to protect us every day.
There are some who have confronted werewolves in the past, and society largely regards them as deranged or suffering from some form of mental illness of some sort.
This is of course, far from the truth. Yet is a convenient lie that the
majority of society often relies on, in time of trauma or duress, caused by these events.
Unfortunately, many weres also suffer from these delusions, unless they are vain, or deliberately causing harm to the human populace and have encountered these hunters first hand.
The "Bad Eggs" so to speak. The tragedy is that so many peaceful, or younger weres, have no idea that they are out there until it is too late.
What I am about to address are the types of hunters that I have heard accounts of , and the types of hunters that I have personally come across n my own life. For I believe that the time has come to put an end to these delusions that hunters do not exist in the world.
If real life weres can exist, then there will be those humans who have the courage to hunt weres. It does not matter what the motivation is. They are out there and they are armed and dangerous, often
possessing access to high tech equipment and governmental or private funding.

The Knowledge Seeker or Arm Chair Scholarxt.
This type of hunter is often the most harmless of hunters. Often only seeking to know more about the creature known as were beast. For although their are many acconts of weres in folklore and legen, their are no actual, factual accounts of he being known as the real life were beast.
This person often only wishes to validate our existence for profit or for the bragging rights that he/she knows about real life weres. There are also those who simply want to know the truth, and to understand what a real life were is. These are often potential allies, yet great care should be taken when deling with them, for some will go to great lengths to further their knowledge. Such as killing the were and exmining the physiology of the were once the were is deceased. It is unfortunate the weres do not have records of themselves that can be said to be official. For if weres did have such access to such records, such individuals would not have access to the innocent trust of questing weres, seeking to know more about themselves and how they could help their were children to grow and understand themselves as well.
The Fanatic
Perhaps the most dangeros of them all. This type of individual often does not care about his/her prey, instead seeing them only as sport, or the child of the Devil. No amount of pleading or conversation will sway this type of hunter, and only killing this type of hunter will stop him/her. Many fanatics often find others who share their beliefs and some actually advertise on the net and even in the phone book in some places. Seeking to profit fromt he killing of werebeasts, bragging rights, and of curse, eradicating yet another "demon". These organizations will use wres against other weres as well, using intimidations, magick, and other means to sway the were and to keep them under his/her control. Not caring whether or not the were is hurt, injured, or dying. To this type of hunter, the were is simply a disposeable pawn, to be used to further their ends. I have even heard of these hunters forcing these weres to wear collars and of them even beating these weres into submission, so that they will follow without question.
.The unfortunate tragedy is that since many weres believ these hunters to be only myths, tales, or villains from rpgs, they are often reluctant to help other weres in trouble. Often sayins that they are delusional and making up wild stories for attention. Yet the truth of the matter remains, they are as real as any real life were is. The only solution to the problem is weres identifying the threat and doing something about it . So that other weres do not suffer needlessly at the hands of these fanatics.
Yet their is also another silent tragedy as well, many weres feel as if they have betrayed their own and refuse to ask for help. For they fear that these types of hunters will hurt their loved ones and friends, so they keep silent, suffering from abuse that can only be descived as horrific in circumstance. These weres often die, after being used in such a manner. Often turning on their friends, and pushing them away, so that when they die, no one wil be hurt by it, for no one will be left to care about them, and they often die alone.
The Mage
Science has caused many to believe that the existence of magick is not real. There are many who also believe that the church also has gone to great lengths to further this as well. For the church often regards those who practice magick as being evil and that it is a sin to practice.
Unfortunately, many christian weres often believe the church and also believe in what facts science has to dispute the existnce o magick. This often leads to many weres having a jaundiced eye or even naivete' when it comes to dealing with this type of hunter.
The Mage often hunts for his/her own rasons, whether it is for profit, an offense of soem sort, the loss of a loved one, or even for the simple reason that spell components are needed for a spell of some sort. This makes the Mage a very dangerous and often terrifying enemy to deal with, for often the Mage attacks through spells from afar, or even employs demons and devils to do his/her bidding. Causing the were to be terrified and often very paranoid of trusting anyone, for the reason that others will be harmed or other wise injured by the Mage. It is only through awareness that the Mage can ve stopped, and that means that the were must either know another Mage, or learn magick as well.
The tragedy is that the were often does not trust after a Mage has attacked, for their are Mages who simply wish to help and aid the were beast. Again, continuing a simple cycle of madness that always results in tragedy and in loss of life for all innocents concerned.
Often causing other weres to go on rampages to avenge their loss and lashing out blindly at humanity. Forgetting that weres live in a society run by humanity and that suffering only leads to suffering.
For most Mages are very careful to protect themselves, and it is often very difficult to finthem in person and resolve the situation on a peaceful level. In the worst of cases, the were never finds the Mage, who may be dead, but worse the Mage may be alive, waiting and biding his/her time to prepare for another assault on the were beast.
The Victim
I have spoken about the fanatic who attacks weres for utterly senseless rasons. Yet what about the were who attacks human prey for the fun of it ? Is that any less sick than a human who attacks weres for fun ?
The answer is NO.
The Victim is the type of person who was having a good time with family, or perhaps walking around at night and enjoying a moonlit walk with some one that was deeply cared about. Or perhaps even just out to have some time alone, by themself. When the wer beast chose to attack and kill, for apparently no other reason at all. Having no idea that it was the were' s territory, or that the were was having some sick fun..........
Worse yet, that were beasts existed in real life.....
Their whole world shattered and torn from them, the victim often uses grief and rage to protect themself. Often returning and with the help of others, slaying the were beast who ruined his/her life. Yet the victim can never be absolutely sure that the right were beast was slain, unless the victim sees the human form of the were beast and can hunt him/her down.
This results in other weres paying the price for that transgression and needless grief for their families and friends. Ye the victim is proccupied with his/her own grief, wanting only to help the spirits of his/her loved one to rest in peace. It is a long line of mistakes, that resulted from one uncaring were beast, who simply did not care about the consequences of his/her actions.
The victim often turns grief and anger into a defense mechanism that ices his/her emotions about killing were beasts in cold blood. Often becoming a hunter of were beasts and continuing the sick line of pain and madness, so that everyone else does not have to suffer like he/she did from were beasts who kill. The only way to stop the senselss suffering is for weres to be more responible, so that not only weres will not suffer, but so that innocent lives of humans can be spared from this sick madness.
It is a cycle that must be stopped, so that society can accept weres, instead of viewing all were beasts as monsters.

The Were gone Bad
