| NAME THE MERGED TRIBE REWARD CHALLENGE |
| Well, this was another tough, tough challenge to judge!! We received some excellent name and flag ideas. We liked Evan's name, Aishimasu. As well as Linda's Zuluzambulu. But no meaning was attached to the name. For those that didn't know, Kaldur means cold and Svidandi means hot in the Icelandic language. Joseph was thinking along the same lines as we were in the beginning of the game. His name, Frigindia, combines the latin words for hot and cold. We loved the idea,but it was already used. Mark did a nice job of combining words for his submission of Myrdalsavik. Josh had a great idea, in submitting Stykarikuldi- meaning strength in cold. If you are interested in seeing Joseph's, Sebastian's or Josh's flag simply email planetz7@yahoo.com with your request. Ultimately what we we're looking for was deep meaning within the flags and native words for the name. We thought, Sebastian's Icelandic word meaning "we're friends" was the best. It's very elegant and seems to roll right off your tongue as you repeat it. The name of your newly merged tribe is Vio Vinur (vio-vin-your). Sebastian didn't submit a flag so we thought we'd reward the person with what we thought was the best flag. We thought Will's flag was the one that would most match the meaning of Vio Vinur. We liked Will's name submission of Amitie, but we thought that Seb's would work better since it's Icelandic in nature. Will's flag had a deep and spiritual meaning. It will be altered only to refect the name of Vio Vinur. Congrats to Sebastian and Will! They now choose between 75 Jet Points of a sneak peek at the next immunity challenge.. |
