Who Emily is     Why Antique Maps

I guess you wonder why I named my homepage 'Hotel Africa'. It's named after my most favorite comic book.

Well, Who I am...

My name is Mun-suk, Song, a senior in Ewha Womans Univ. I major in Politics & Diplomacy and minor in Business Administration and Professional English.

What I most love to do is Getting Togather with my lovely friends. Whenever I meet them, they give me joy and help.

When I'm free, I am usally at home as reading a book, watching TV or video or,sometimes, studying.

If you ask me when the best moment was in my life, I'll tell you 2 years ago, when I was in Canada to visit my relatives. I had stayed there for 6 month with my grand uncle's family and went to Ottawa, Calary, Vencouvor and Montreal.

I plan to use this homepage for my personal relationship such as connecting with my friends, letting know how I get along, uploading my photos and so on.

Well..now you get a lot of ideas about me. Maybe, we can be freinds.

Why Antique Maps?

I got a motive from a book entitled " The city of the sea : the history of a thousand years". After reading this book,
I was totally charmed by the Age of Discovery & Expoloration and began to be interested in the antique maps.

I think the map is not only a tool for sailing or traveling but also the key for understanding the idea of the times.
