Life is a very strange thing,
It brings good things along with the bad,
Life sometimes brings joy,
And sometimes makes our heart sing.
Life can deal us a big blow,
Or sometimes make us soar,
High among the clouds,
No matter what, life always makes us grow.
Life teaches us many lessons to learn,
And we take each in stride,
When fate deals us a bad burn,
We overcome each obstacle with pride.
So when you are feeling really down,
And think life is not so fair,
Think of all the times in past,
And how far you've come,
And thank the Lord above,
For all his loving care.
