Benjamin SOBLET was born on 9 April 1732. He was married to Elizabeth JORDAN on 24 June 1762. He immigrated in 1777 to Charlotte County, Virginia. He served in the military in 1777 in the Revolutionary War. He owned 150 acres in 1780 in Charlotte County, Virginia. He owned 3,178 acre (land grant) in 1782 in Lincoln County, Kentucky. He owned 2,000 acres (land grant) in 1785 in Warren County, Kentucky. He moved in 1799 to Warren County, Kentucky. He was buried in Old Brady farm, Warren County, Kentucky.

Their children were:

i. Sarah SUBLET was born 26 December 1763.

ii. Charles Jourdan SUBLET was born 31 July 1766.

iii. Mary Elizabeth SUBLET was born 14 October 1771. She married Bartley GREENWOOD on 13 October 1785.

iv. Martha Jane SUBLET married David GARLAND on 1 October 1805.

v. Ursley SUBLET was born 24 March 1769. She married Joel FERGUSON on 7 April 1788.

vi. William SUBLET married Sarah AKIN on 20 December 1787.

vii. Benjamin Branch SUBLET was born 29 March 1776. He married Mary AKIN on 8 November 1787.
