The
idea of Pokemon was created by Satoshi Tajiri. When Satoshi
was little his favorite hobby was to collect bugs, rodent, gerbils,
and all kind of small animals. He used his animals to create
an idea called "Pocket Monsters" He created a TV hit
series with his ideas. He drew almost all the monsters(Pokemon).
He never knew it would become his big break. He started drawing
comics and then was promoted by a producer guy or somebody.
He started out making series but it wasn't a big hit. He decided
to spread Pocket Monster. In 1995, Mewtwo Strikes Back was made.
You could've bought the tape in America. It was in Janpenese
but the translations were on the bottom. Still wasn't a big
hit. He decided to try his idea one more time. It was a big
success! Around July 1997 it was a hit in Japan. On September
1998 it was released again in the US. It was a great hit but
was early in the morning. Kids WB rating of Pokemon was high
at once, but then dropped. They decided to put it later the
day after kids get out of school and it succeeded. Now Pokemon
is Bigger than ever!!!!
