LEAGUE RULES

1. Buy-in for each week's NLHE freeze-out is $20+$2 for $2000 starting chips, and includes snacks and beverages.

2. The weekly prize pool will consist of each player's $20 buy-in minus $20 for the end of year prize pool.

3. The season will last 10 weeks, with players receiving points weekly, and will have a prize pool of no less than $300 (there is $100 carry-over from last season).

4. Points are awarded as follows: 1st = 5 points, 2nd = 3 points, 3rd = 2 points, 4th = 1 point.

5. The player with the best 8 week point total after 10 weeks wins the entire season prize pool, and the title of "Player of the Year."

6. A player must participate in at least 5 LRP events in order to qualify to win the League's grand prize.

7. All money collected throughout the season for the end of year prize pool is considered to have come from all players - and no player regardless of wins, points or other factors - has any greater claim to the money in the prize pool than any other player until the completion of the season. (ie: If a player wins a week, and $20 from that week is put into the end of year prize pool, the player who won the week of that donation has ZERO claim to that money, as the donation is made prior to that player winning that week.)

8. Players will LOSE 2 POINTS for not abiding by the "shuffle bitch" rule - wherein, upon being ousted from the weekly tourney, the losing player is forced to deal for the remaining participants until the next player is eliminated and takes their place. There will be very little room for exception with this rule - as any player who chooses to participate in a game presumably was prepared to stick around until the end had they won, and thus have no excuse for leaving early simply because they lost out.
