"Yes," She said shakily.
"Beth's just nervous," Ariel explained. "she always gets jittery when she's about to get on a rollercoaster."
"It's true." She said, grinning, but rubbing her arms. JC looked at her sympathetically.
"Don't worry, I can be like that a lot." He told her.
"Then how come you're not scared right now?"
"Now? And make myself look like a wimp in front of six beautiful ladies? NO way," he said, grinning.
"Batman's better!" Marie said loudly, disagreeing with Joey's whole Superman issue. "At least he knows that underwear isn't supposed to be worn on the outside!" She said, laughing.
"No way! That's just his style!" Joey insisted.
"Take it from Mr. Tacky," Chris muttered, causing everyone to laugh and Joey to stare angrily at him. The doors to the ride opened and the group split into three to get into the seats. JC laughed at how Beth was shaking.
"Y'know, if you get scared, you can hold my hand?" He told her as one of the attendants strapped them into the seat.
"Aww, that's so sweet," Justin said from behind them. "Will you two lovely, brave ladies hold my hand if I get scared?"
"No way!" Karrie said, grinning at Ariel.
"This is gonna be so much fun-" Chris started, but the ride took off so fast that his words were left behind.
"AHH!!" They all screamed, Beth had grabbed JC's hand without thinking. As they reached the top of the Superman ride, she raised her arms high in the air and yelled loudly along with Ariel, Tiana, Celeste, Marie, and Karrie.
"Wow." Was all Chris could say when they got off the ride.
"That was fun!" Beth said, happily.
"Oh, so now you're not scared after you almost break my hand," JC teased.
"What's next?" Celeste asked Tiana. She and Lance both pulled out their copies of the map of 6 flags.
"How about… Batman?" Tiana suggested.
"Yeah!" Marie whooped while Joey smirked.
"My tummy hurts!" Celeste groaned as they exited the Batman ride.
"Yeah, Great America's Top Gun is much better," Karrie commented, also holding her stomach.
"Man," Lance said, looking at her watch, "It's already six. We've got to go if we want to catch our flight."
"Alright," JC said reluctantly, turning to face Beth. "it was nice meeting you," He said, "although you did attempt to bite my head off." He teased. She grinned back at him.
"Yeah, keep in touch, alright?"
"You bet." The rest of the guys said their goodbyes, and left. Beth gazed at JC's retreating back, feeling sad they had to leave.
"Girl, you're sprung." Marie commented.
"Sprung?" Beth repeated, surprised. "You should be talking, Ms. Batman. You just did that to have an argument with Joey…. We all know you love Superman." Marie blushed while the rest of the girls laughed.
