Chapter 1: The Reunion

JC Chasez wearily rubbed his eyes. Touring was always hectic, but the first couple of days were tiring. It's probably all the stress with Michelle, he thought, thinking of his girlfriend. Michelle was beautiful, and JC always felt proud that he was her boyfriend. But there were times when all she did was yell at him, throwing accusations of infidelity at his face when she knew they weren't true.

"You alrite JC?" Justin asked, eating his apple jacks on the table in the small kitchen.

"Yeah," He said, pouring himself a glass of orange juice. He winced when Chris Kirkpatrick's loud voice broke the peacefulness.

"Rise and shine children!" Chris sang. "Ow!" He yelled when Lance whacked him on the back of the head with his palm.

"What makes you so chipper this morning?" Justin asked with a mouthful of cereal.

"Oh yeah, hey guys, Julie's coming on tour with us! She e-mailed me last night with the news." Chris said, happily.

JC's eyes widened. "Are you serious?" He felt uneasy.

"Yup. You wouldn't believe it. They hired her to make the home video, and she'll be shooting the footage from the no strings attached tour. She'll be on the bus with us for a bit. I think we're picking her up before the next concert."

JC smacked his head. "Oh shit! Michelle's gonna be at the next concert." The rest of the guys all grimaced.

"Man, JC, she's a bitch!" Justin whined. "She ain't treating you right. We all know what she says, she doesn't try to keep it from us.

"I know, but that's just the way she is." JC reasoned.

Julia Steins studied her equipment, trying to remember if she had forgotten anything. This job was huge for her, it could really launch her career but what mattered more to Julia was that she would be seeing some of her best friends and was actually being paid to spend time with them.

Her brown eyes lost some of their sparkle when she thought of JC. The last time she had seen him had been a long time ago, but she could hardly forget what had happened between them.

"I was such an idiot!" She murmured. It was a tiring night, after partying at a club, they had all gone home. They had both been drunk, and well things had happened. The next day, Julia couldn't face him, and when he left to finish the rest of their tour, she still hadn't spoken to him.

"I shouldn't think about that anymore," She said to aloud to herself. "it's in the past, he's got a girlfriend and it's business now." With that she packed up the rest of the equipment.
