Hi I'm Val. I live in Folsom, California with my three
beautiful sons, Alex, Jake & Zach. I work fulltime for the State of California Air Resources Board, which is
a part of the Environmental Protection Agency. I have been employed with the State for the last 10 years and love
it. I have a great boss and awesome co-workers, but I've always wanted more, just a little something extra. I have
been a consultant for a couple other Direct Sales companies in the past. I really enjoyed scrapbooking and still
do, but when I had to meet a quota of $500.00 every three months, I said that's it. Couldn't keep up. I wasn't
spending the extra time I wanted to with my family. So I took off a couple years and then became a consultant for
Cookie Lee. Loved it, no high quota's to deal with. I still am a consultant for Cookie Lee, so if anyone is interested
or wants a catalog, let me know.
I love candles, bath & body products, hair stuff, nails, purses, shoes, anything pink and really anything girlie!!
The irony of all this is that I was a BIG time tomboy growing up. I couldn't stand dresses, hair accessories, etc....My
mom used to put me in dresses and tell me she was going to send me to charm school. My mom is from the south, so
I was definatley not a southern girl, that's for sure. After having my second son, I waited for about 7 years and
wanted to try for a girl. Well Zach entered the world and I guess it wouldn't be appropriate to name a boy, Maddie!!
So we gave him the name Zach and then the weirdest thing happened....I decided to take all that energy I'd been
saving for a little girl and dumped it into me!! Yeah for me. I was always the awkward one growing up, hated my
hair, nails, skin you name it. Funny, it took me 34 years, 3 cute little boys and their unconditional love, to
find me and love myself....
I met a girlfriend at work and she turned me on to Cookie
Lee. Overtime we just clicked and kept each other up with what we were up to. She sent me some links of some businesses
she was working on, since she knows I like the similar things she does. So she sent me the link to Marlo Quinn
and that was that, DONE DEAL!!
