Yay, I'm ungrounded. Not that much happened this week. Lots of studying and school stuff occured. I think it was Thursday that this guy came to drama class with a bunch of African drums and we got to play them. It was neat. Another day some people from the college came and performed "Bang Bang, You're Dead". That was also neat.
Yesterday after school my mom took me to get my hair cut again. I got it layered & now it doesn't look all stupid, woo hoo. Then I went on a walk to visit Monica and Reid. On the way there I bought them suckers. We talked for a while and then I walked back home. The last dance of the year started at 8:30 and I got there around 9, I think. It was an ok dance, I was rather bored most of the time.
This evening I'm finally going to see Star Wars with Liz, Aaron & KC. Then I'm going to spend the night at Liz's.
Elyse sent me artwork! I'll add it to the show & tell page sometime soon.

KC, Aaron, Liz & I went to the Star Wars matinee. I thought it was great, Liz hated it. At one point C3P0 made a pun and I couldn't stop laughing.
Afterwards Liz and I walked to her house. She got on the phone with her bf Nick and I talked to him for a while. He's a nice boy.
Liz's parents ordered Chinese food & Kensi just came over. I think we might watch a movie. Speaking of movies, last week I watched SLC Punk. I like how it ended...but poor Heroine Bob! Oh, the irony!

Liz and I cleaned her room and then we went on a walk for approx 2 hours. It was hot and we were thirsty so we went to some asian bistro. The waitress didn't speak English very well, it was confusing trying to order. We ended up ordering an appetizer even though we weren't hungry.
Once back at her house I called my mom to pick me up b/c I was really tired & needed to do homework. Both my parents came & decided to stay and chat with Liz's parents. We finally got home and I spent a couple hours doing Spanish homework. I am tired, I'm going to take a nice shower and go to bed.

I aced the History and Spanish tests I took last week, yay. This afternoon I have to finish making a book about myself for Spanish. Yesterday Liz & I walked to Goodwill. She found a Rainbow Brite record & two dolls. I got a couple sweaters.
Tomorrow I'm going to graduation & I'm meeting Aaron there. Saturday is Paul's birthday party. I'd like to go to that, too. I'll have to get busy & make him a card or something.
Well, my mom decided she wanted cable again. The guy came & turned it on yesterday. I watched me some tv this afternoon & thought it was incredibly boring, and last night M*A*S*H wasn't on at the time I used to watch it! I guess it was rescheduled or something...

At lunch I played hackey sack with Paul & got to show off my mad skills in serving. Aaron and I danced around on our toes, too.
At 6:30pm Aaron's picking me up & we're going to see graduation. I don't know if we're doing anything afterwards. If not I'm probably going to Liz's.
It's really cold & wet outside today. It's kind of pretty, actually. There's blue sky but it's hailing right now. My Mom saw lightning while I was at school. I heard it's supposed to be nice this weekend, though. I hope so.

Friday I went to graduation & watched my friends get their diplomas. I wanted to graduate with them...I can't wait to get out of my school. Afterwards Aaron dropped me off at Liz's house and I spent the night.
I came home Saturday around noon. I was feeling really weird and started crying for no real reason...I decided it probably wouldn't be a good idea to go to Paul's birthday party. Plus my mom was going to Olympia so I wouldn't have a ride home later. So I went to Rite Aid and ran into Elijah. Holla to Elijah. I got Paul a card & wrote him a note, applied star stickers and found a dried up daisy chain I'd made about a month ago & taped it inside. My mom took me to his house & I gave him the card & a hug and left.
Since I was so weirded-out and couldn't stand the thought of staying home, my mom decided I should see a chick-flick so I went with her to Olympia and we saw "the Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood" at the mall & had dinner out.
Last night I was watching tv & I saw Jimmy Eat World's video for "Sweetness". I like it better than the one for "The Middle". I think it has the same director who did Coldplay's "Trouble", which explains why it's so cool. They look kind of similar.
Today I spent the majority of my time outside doing yard work or reading. I was going to go inside, but my mom made me stay out and watch after my kitty to make sure she didn't leave the yard. I ended up burning my back and shoulders, and it doesn't feel very good.
I was just looking at pics on a Bright Eyes fan site and the lead singer is kind of cute. Yeah, someone new to obsess over. wee

Last Monday of the school-year, woo! In English we're watching Rollerball, and it's all 70's retro-ish...there's shag carpet and funky writing all over the place. In drama the African drummer guy came back with a dance instructor and we learned African dances. Some seniors came back today to participate, including Elyse. Yo Elyse.
After dancing around I was all hot & gross so I took a shower when I got home. Aaron stopped by, but I couldn't go w/him to KC's because I had a therapy appt. Yes, I'm in therapy right now. No, I'm not nuts. Today she told me I'm very mature for a 16 year old as far as my thought processes and the way I analyze things. Shya, you know it. But really, I was happy to hear that. I was quick to tell my mom that one. I swear, my mother still thinks I'm eleven.
Anyway, this morning I thought the day was going to suck on account of my sunburn and overall bad mood & whatnot, but by now I'm in a rather good mood, actually. Finals are the last 2 days of school, but I only have to study for the ones on Friday. I'm going to put this off til the last minute. I always remember things better when I cram right before, anyway.
It is now that I will surf around in hopes of finding something entertaining for a short while, then I'll most likely retire to my room where I'll make collages while watching tv. Ciao.

I just added a lovely poem by Laura to the show & tell page. I think it's one of her best ones. It makes me think of Clarisse from Fahrenheit 451.
Yesterday Liz came over & we hung out. Aaron stopped by on the way home from work & Andrew walked over from his house. We talked on my front lawn for a while. Then Liz & I had dinner & she went home.
Today we had a fiesta in Spanish & I ate a bunch of rice & chips, yum. My mom picked me up after school & we went to the mall to return something & buy a gift for my dad. I decided I would make him a card instead of buying one. Speaking of cards, tomorrow is Rivers Cuomo's birthday. I was planning on sending him a card. ;) I think he'll be 32...nuts.
When we got home from the mall I went in my backyard & studied History for the final Friday. Liz called & we talked for a while. She sure likes Nick. They've been going out for approx three weeks now. Liz always has boyfriends. [Not that I'm jealous or anything...] Today was her last day of school, too. DORK

I thought my History final was tomorrow. I was wrong, it was today. Kim helped me with my notes & I studied a lot 3rd period. I think I did alright. I also took my English final. We had the period to right a 5 paragraph essay on what would have made the society in Fahrenheit 451 more like a positive utopia rather than a negative one. I think I did alright on that one, too.
This afternoon my mom freaked out at my dad for trimming too much off a shrub. Later on when she was still angry I asked her if a shrub was worth all that anger and she started talking about how stupid my dad was. Then I said I didn't think she understood what I was saying and she said "I don't think YOU understand what I AM SAYING!" Come on, it's a freaking shrub. She's very immature sometimes.
Bryon and Jonny stopped by today. Bryon told me he'd lost my phone number, again. [...is this the 3rd time? 4th maybe?] He'd lost Aaron's, too so I gave it to him. He said we should hang out this summer. Jonny didn't say anything the whole time. He doesn't talk, around me at least.
Well, tomorrow's the last day of school and we're getting out early, yay. Sunday Sheila, Aaron H. and Gage are coming down from Oly for Father's day. That should be fun.
Oh yes, happy birthday to Rivers Cuomo. He's so old now. Also, congrats to Tiffany who's at her 8th grade graduation right now.

Over the announcements this morning they played "Summertime" by Sublime. It's a shame Lucas wasn't there, he loves them.
Yay, summer break. We got out early...Maureen got a ride home with me, but she couldn't hang out b/c she & Katie have a feis in Canada to go to. Liz called & wanted me to come over, so I did. She's been ignoring me for about almost two hours. She expects me to be entertained while she sits and does stuff on the computer. She was "just checking her email" for an hour, now she's on the phone with Nick. I sat in her room for a while, made several trips downstairs to refill my glass of orange juice, now I think I'll go ask her when we're going to do something...for the 100th time.

I told Liz I was mad at her for ignoring me. She didn't apologize & acted like nothing happened, like I thought she would. Then my mom came, picked us up & took us to my house. We went for a walk. At the candy store we ran into Emily. Then we kept walking and found a yard sale. I bought a cool glass & a Spanish to English dictionary, Liz got a beanie baby duck.
Later on after Liz had left I wrote a letter to Mallory. I'm going to send it today. We haven't talked for a long time, I hope she writes back.
Today I did some house cleaning, then I went to the grocery store with my dad. He was being very irritating and we ended up arguing the whole time. I was going to make him a fathers day card this afternoon but I don't really feel like it now.

Saturday I walked to Goodwill & guess what I found...a bag full of ric rac! I also got a little photo album. It had a a picture left inside & it was dated 1967. The people are wearing horn rimmed glasses.
Sunday my sister Sheila, Aaron H. and Gage came for father's day. We had a barbecue. Sheila, Aaron, my dad & I were playing cards when we decided to go to Dairy Queen. I had so much ice cream I felt sick.
When we got back poor little Gagey-poo didn't feel well so they left. My neighbors were playing baseball in the street so I joined them. We played for a long time, then everyone went inside when it was too dark to see the ball.
Yesterday was fun. Today is crap! I woke up with my allergies freaking out, and it's cold & raining outside, wah wah.

Monday evening Liz came over & spent the night. Tuesday we got up & decided to help Patti out with preparing her room for summer school. First we walked to Subway & had breakfast, then we walked to the school & helped out til about 3pm. Then we walked back to my house, I packed up my stuff, and Patti picked us up. That night Liz & I went to see Scooby Doo. It was dumb, nobody should waste their money on it. We were considering getting up & leaving during the film but the seats were comfortable & we're just lazy. Today we got up early and went to school. I saw Blake there, I forgot he had signed up to help out.
I came home around noon & went with my mom to rite aid. Then we went to Wendy's. Their salads are kind of weird. It was pretty outside so my mom suggested that we go for a drive in the country. That was fun. When we got back Mo, Katie & Ashley came over. We had a little sewing party in my living room. We all put ric rac on our cut off jeans & made bracelets out of old ulgy shirts.
My allergies are driving me nuts. This afternoon I had tears streaming down my cheeks & I was sneezing like a maniac. I took some medicine & it made me sleepy. I'm going to go to bed soon.

I got up at 7 today. Patti & Liz picked me up around 8. I'm at summer school right now. I'm helping out Marci [aka Mrs. White] in her room today. I just got done grading math papers...some of these kids are better at subtracting than I am.
I'm using an iMac to blog right now...and I don't like it. Everything's all screwy.
This afternoon I'm going to the mall with my mom to get a swimsuit. We're probably going to Sheila's, too. Hopefully she can find her copy of White Oleander so I can borrow it. I want to read it before the movie comes out. Anyway, Liz might come with us if my mom doesn't mind.

Yesterday after the kiddies went to lunch Marci dropped Liz & I off at my house. We went on a walk and when we got back my mom took us to the mall. Liz got another swimsuit, I think she has like twenty now. I got a pretty cute one & some shorts.
After the mall we went to Sheila's house. Liz played videogames with Gage & I talked with She & my mom. Then She gave me a few books to read: White Oleander [yay], The Tao of Pooh, and some feminist book.
On the ride home Liz & I got really hyper. I was holding a bunch of flowers in a vase from Sheila, and the petals were falling off. I put one on my nose and said, "hey look" to Liz, then she took one and stuck it up her nose. Then we were making faces at truckers. We ended up singing The Copa Cabanna & The Star Spangled Banner really loud. It was pretty nutty. I haven't laughed that much in quite a while.

Fun fun fun. Aaron came over & gave me a birthday present, it's so neat. My birthday isn't until July 10th, but he'll be in California then. Anyway, he gave me a journal with a really cool cover. yay
Well, Aaro took Liz & I to Goodwill. We bought some random junk. Then we went to the park to see the new "skate park". It was little paved areas with grass & potholes...they obviously aren't finished. We decided to walk around the park & there was a guy lying in the grass with kittens. We stopped to chat & the kittens climbed up Aaro's legs. It was funny.
After our walk we went to Lisa's house. Lisa Genna & Noelle were watching Orange County & we watched the end of it w/them. Noelle went home and everyone else went to the Matrix. We watched Flipstick's set & went outside. We walked to Fuller's, by the time we got back Gingervitus was done w/their set. We stood around & talked for a while.
Aaron was driving Liz & I back to my house...and someone was following us. So we parked in front of my house & got out. It was Elijah, Chris & Jared. Aaron went to hang out with them, Liz and I said goodbye, and went inside. We watched the beginning of Bambi and fell asleep.
This morning I downloaded the new version of Audiogalaxy, it still won't work. It hasn't worked for a while now. gaaah
Oh yeah, I got Mallory's letter yesterday, [thanks Mal! I liked the Sesame street envelope]. She sent some poetry, too. I'll add that to show & tell later.

Yesterday Liz & I walked to Goodwill. When we got back my parents had gone to Sheila's. I called Aaron and he picked us up to go see my friends at the spring dance recital. I miss being in the recitals & whatnot, and I'd like to take classes again, but I don't have enough time anymore. I don't think I could devote myself to it, either.
Today I'm going with my parents to my grandparents house. I think we're going out to lunch or something. It should be nice, I guess.

I read in the backseat all the way to my grandparents. Once there, we went out to lunch. I had peach cobbler, it was so good. Then my mom & I went on a walk around the PLU campus. People at colleges seem to have an optimism about them that you don't see at high school, this is my observation. I think I'm looking forward to college. Mom & I headed back, then we joined my dad & my grandparents in the kitchen. It was weird hearing them talk about old age & the days "way back when". I don't want to get old.
On the way back we stopped at Sheila's house. Sheila, Mom & I sat and watched as the guys had fun on the slip & slide. I watched my dad run around the yard like a kid.
I read the whole way home, too. White Oleander is really good. We got back around 7pm, I think. I took a shower, then I read until 11:30pm and went to sleep. Right now I'm doing the teacher-aid thing at summer school, I don't know what I'm doing this afternoon.

Yesterday Liz and I babysat for Marci. My mom came to pick us up, on the way to Liz's we took a wrong turn & drove through the country, it was nice. Liz picked up some stuff & we went to my house.
We walked across the street to say hi to Ashley, Maureen & Katie. Ashley had her digital camera with her, so we went on a walk around the neighborhood and to the empty lot next to the church. We took funny pictures for a while. Ashley's computer kept freezing so we couldn't save the pics, we'll have to do that later.
That night Liz & I read until 11pm, then we went to sleep. This morning we got up fifty minutes late & had to run around like maniacs getting ready. Now at school, I don't have any errands to do at the moment, I'm probably going to read. I can't wait til the munchkins go to lunch & I can go home.

I had an enjoyable afternoon yesterday. I went shopping with my mom & did some sunbathing. I think I burnt my legs, though.
Aaron & KC called & invited me to go to Olympia today. My mom said it was ok, so we're going to go & meet Erika there. They're going to buy converse at Rainy Day Records. I don't need new ones so I'm thinking I'll just peruse the merchandise & wish I had money. I can have fun w/out buying things, right? Of course I can, but there isn't any harm in asking my mom for money....
Liz didn't come to summer school today, so I've had to run a couple errands in her place. I might take a day off sometime so I can go to the beach. That'll be great fun, I can't wait.
The kiddies go to lunch in approx 20 minutes. Then it's back home I go, & I'm going to try to finish making my pillowcase skirt before I go to Oly. [Katie: this explains me thinking about pillowcases...you should come over sometime & we'll make you one, too. They're easy.]

I had fun in Oly. At Rainy Day KC & Aaron got new converse. Erika was going to, but they didn't have her size. :( I got this super neat peppermint lip balm with hemp in it. Makes my mouth feel minty fresh. woo
We walked around downtown, loitered in a few stores, sat in the park & played hangman for a while, and ended up going down to the boardwalk. We sat & ate kettle corn & talked. It was really windy & I couldn't keep my hair out of my face.
When the time on our parking meter was almost up we went to Erika's house. I made a paper sheriff's badge for her nephew Gavin. He almost never stops talking, he's adorable. Shout out to Gavin.
This morning I woke up to a grey sky. It's lightly sprinkling now. It's about 65 degrees, I think. Not too bad. Liz brought her friend Jessica with us to school today. She's a nice girl, I like her...but Liz is ignoring me now. I was trying to talk to her & she just stared at me like I was a babbling idiot, and when we were walking down the hall she sped in front of me and walked with Jessica, talking only to her as if I weren't there. Biotch. Oh well, at least I'm not stuck in the same room with her. I'll just do my teacher-aiding by myself til I can go home.

It's cold & rainy outside, wah wah.
My mom and I spent most of the afternoon yesterday trying to figure out what's wrong with our sewing machine. We had given up when my dad came home & tried to figure it out. It was funny to watch him, he didn't even know how to thread it & he thought he could fix it. Silly man.
I finished my skirt sans machinery. I hemmed by hand, it turned out very nicely. Then I had dinner & watched Orange County with my parents, and ate too many cookies. After the movie they went to bed. I stayed up & wrote a letter to Mallory. I finished it around 11pm, then I read until 1am & fell asleep.
This morning after eating cereal with the kids in the cafeteria, Liz & I walked to the candy store. She bought chips, Snickers & fruit candies. I don't want any of that. I want cookies.
Today the kids are making sock head thingies. I guess they're going to grow grass on a sock & make a face so it looks like a head. fun fun
