Maureen & Katie left for Ireland Monday. :( Waves goodbye. See you in a month, girls.
Yesterday I started school. It's so damn cold in that building. Spanish was left out of my schedule & I've been going through hell trying to get it. I'm going to try to replace 1st period aerobics with an independent study period.
This year I won't be in The Nutcracker, so I'm free to do the fall play. We're doing The Outsiders this year. Should be interesting.
Anyway, after finishing my homework yesterday Bryon stopped by & we went on a walk. I hadn't seen him since before I left for Cali so it was nice to hang out with him. It was a whole year ago that we went out, it's so strange. So much has happened since then. A year can seem like forever sometimes. I wish summer vacation seemed like forever...I feel jipped this year. It went way too fast. Oh well.
I am...
hearing nothing.
wearing pajamas & white shawl.
feeling sad.
thinking about music.

Last night was the first dance of the year. It was ok. They played a lot of slow rap, as usual.
Today there's a show at a local shopping center, which is starting about now & ends at 6pm. I'm not sure who's playing. Heather and I want to go, and I was going to see about Aaron but he's gone somewhere right now. We figured we'd go at about 2.
In the meantime I'm going to try to whip up a new layout. I've been having trouble figuring out what I want to do. I have to come up with something, though. This one has been up way too long. I'm not in a green mood anymore.
I am...
hearing Coldplay.
wearing gray slacks & brown tanktop.
feeling lazy.
thinking about photography.

I've been slacking, haven't I? No blogging for over a week, and still no new layout. Shame on me.
Well, some interesting things have happened since my last entry. I made plans to visit Laura this weekend. She's going to college a couple hours away so we don't get to see each other that often. I can't wait. Get the records ready, Laura...we're gonna be rockin out.
The fall play changed, also. We won't be doing the Outsiders due to a lack of boys. Instead, we'll be doing Winners. It's about the problems of high school, like peer pressure and self esteem and whatnot. I auditioned last Thursday and got the lead. Isn't that wonderful? Now I have rehearsals until four every afternoon.
Many other interesting things have happened, and I could go on, but I'd rather work on the new layout I've been promising for the last month. I will finish it...
I am...

I'm in my independant study period in the library right now, I only have so much time. I might have to finish my narrative of the weekend when I get home. Here's most of it anyway:
Thursday after school I went & passed my drive test, now I have my license. The picture makes my face look fat.
Soon after I got home KC showed up. It was Nat'l Talk Like a Pirate Day, and he was dressed accordingly. We went to Goodwill, then to go hang out with people downtown. It was an evening of tree-climbing, flavored water, Monty-Python, Marco-Polo, and "petting parties" (which sounds kind of dirty, but I swear it isn't).
Friday evening I drove myself (tee hee) over to Paul's for a movie party. We watched Donnie Darko (I do not look like Jena Malone) and Kung Pow. Other movies were watched that night, but I left early.
I'll write about my eventful trip to Laura's later.
I am...
hearing people typing.
wearing brown slacks, navy blue shirt.
feeling cold.
thinking about cookies.

Now I'm in my Computer Applications class, I finished the unit early so I have a couple days to do whatever I want. It is so cold in this room, they always have the fans on.
I had a lot of fun at Laura's. Her family was visiting her on Saturday & offered to drive me down. We ate lunch in the park, went to the Portland Saturday Market & some mall. After her family left she and I ate ice cream and watched "The Secret of Rhone Inish" in her apartment. The next day we dressed up and walked to a local park to take pictures of each other. Cars passed by and people gawked at our crazy attire.
"I wonder if they think we're whores."
"Probably."
We went to the Baskin Robbins where she works and a fellow employee gave us free ice cream. I ate way too much ice cream this weekend. At 4pm my parents showed up & we drove home. So, yes...that's what I did this weekend.
I am...
hearing tv sounds.
wearing pajamas.
feeling antsy.
thinking I should get dressed.

Well, here's the new layout as promised. I know it's depressing, but I like it anyway. I figure it's appropriate since Halloween isn't too far off.
Yesterday afternoon proved quite interesting. We got out of school at noon. Colby was going to give me a ride home, but he had accidentally left his lights on all day, and the car wouldn't start. Some kid tried to help him jump start it & did something wrong, and I noticed it was smoking...he really screwed up.
Then a fire engine came; there was a brush fire in the field next to our school. All of the kids waiting for their buses had to evacuate the area. Mayhem!
I went to the dance last night, it was pretty dumb. Though the dj, I think, was better than usual, I didn't enjoy myself anyway. Kim and I are going to hang out tonight, and probably will talk about boys and diets and other girly things while watching movies and eating junk food. Good times.
