I would like to know
How long a tear takes to dry
How long a heart takes to heel
And How long a kiss takes to fade

A beautiful vista made up
Of a pure sandy shore and a deep blue sea
With a host of porpoises playing in the waves
As I sit with my toes in the warm water
The sand moulding to my back
I watch you frolicking with the ocean
Swimming where I dare not
I see the storm clouds approach
As my mood blackens
I want you to be 1000 miles away
I walk out in to the warm water intent on finding China
I walk up past my waist I continue to walk
Till the salt water burns my tongue
Then it burns my eyes
As I start to see the pink elephants dancing
And the orange zebras marching
I being to fade and I begin to

My tears drying
My heart heeling
The kiss fading
Now I know
