Desecration

Desecrated my temple, my body, my soul.
Cruel to me for simple misunderstandings.
Unspoken words,unintentional actions bring
retribution.
Is nothing sacred to you Demon?

I should hate and despise you.
Be revolted by your glances and touches.
The opposite is true.
I ache for you.

In your warm brown eyes;
I see a flicker of sanctuary.
A hidden shadow of a man.
This soft echo calls out to me.

Still fear haunts me.
Will you turn on me?
Do I inspire a forbidden humanity,
A reminder of things lost?

Where can all this lead us?
Can we find eternal sanctuary;
Lost in forbidden embraces;
or are we doomed,a hell on earth?
