Welcome to the Gallery of Sephiroth Clones!
So many pictures of Sephiroth have I, that it's just not funny o_O
[NOTE: my handle has changed from "Shadowfax" to "Nickel S." over the course of my time as a fanartist]

Colour

Title: Weakling
Date: Illustrated some time in 1997, coloured Aug. '99
Subject: Sephiroth (and Cloud)
Annotation: I'd have to say I really like how this picture turned out. I coloured it the day I scanned it at my uncle's house using PaintShop Pro. I love the brush strokes in that program, and the highlights of Seph's trenchcoat are far better than I'd hoped. Oh, and the sharpening and blurring of Cloud's head really looks like there's some depth. Then there's the skin tone and shading *phew... That's right, live it up while ya can* Too bad I goofed the lens flare and Seph's lower half.
Title:
Date: July/Aug. 1999
Subject: Vincent Valentine
Annotation: *shrugs* What can I say? I love Vinny. Unfortunately I don't have more pictures of him, although I sure seem to have a lot of Sephiroth ones. Funny thing that; In the long run, I've always liked Vincent more than Sephiroth, but no pics!
Coloured in pencil crayon and felt, minimal touch ups using Photoshop.
Title:
Date: July/Aug. 1999
Subject: Sephiroth
Annotation: The pose was inspired by how Sephiroth dashes up to the enemy with that damned long sword during battle. He moves so smoothly and quickly, that I couldn't possibly emulate it on paper, but it was kinda cool trying. The brown is due to lack of proper colouring media. Besides, even Tetsuya Nomura's character sketch gives me the impression of a hint of brown in that trench coat, plus my action figure is really dark brown, too. Coloured as per Vincent (above); Big touch ups using Photoshop.
Title: Feu de Joie (amazing what a dictionary will give you)
Date: November 1999
Subject: Sephiroth
Annotation: Yet another (!) Sephiroth pic. He must be really easy to draw or something, because I just seem to have so many scanned. Really, he ain't my favourite, though. Wahahaha... new flame filter ;D Most people get carried away with it, but I think this one's okay, if not a little undercooked.
Date: Illustrated June 27th 1998, coloured Sept.'99
Subject: Sephiroth
Annotation: This was a generally crappy picture to begin with when I first scanned it. I love trench coats ^_^;

Black & White

Date: 1997 (??), there might still be a date on it.
Subject: Cloud
Annotation: Have I ever told you thatI HATE CLOUD? Oh, well now you know. He's just such a pathetic apathetic (yes, that was intentional) moron! Not to mention he's WE---AK! I can't believe they made Squall like that too! Sure he may be easy on the eyes, but how can a personality like that be tolerated as the main character of the game?? I can't stand it I tell you. You might as well just name Squall Cloud Jr.
Title: Version 2.0
Date: 1998
Subject: Sephiroth
Annotation: This is actually the second copy I drew of this pic specifically for a contest @ SSC. I liked this one, once upon a time, however it doesn't look too good scanned (like I said before, my uncle's scanner is kinda crappy). I guess this was my first break-through in the shading department.
Date: 1999 ?
Subject: Sephiroth
Annotation: This one's okay. I liked the shading on this one too. His face is a little gimped though. Weird scanning program at school made those funny cuts to the image.
