The trainer of Joshua Frampton and former rival of both Chip Masters and John Iley, Collins (formerly known as Jonathan Storm) has become an inspiration for a current crop of high flyers. Taking most of his days to teach at the newly dubbed (R)Evolution Dojo in San Diego, Collins rarely wrestles in favor of teaching. However, with the flourishing career of his student Joshua Frampton, and the well being of his girlfriend, Hilary Bennett, Collins brings his A-Game back to professional wrestling, choosing to bring what he loves the most back to where he began, instead of taking a larger sum to go to a bigger promotion.
Entrance Description: "So Cold" by Breaking Benjamin starts on the speakers, and the crowd rushes around the rails by the entrance as Jonathan Collins steps out from the back with Hilary Bennett at his side. Collins takes a deep breath, focuses, and makes his way to ringside, slapping several hands along the way.
History: Lots can be said about Jonathan Collins. King of Violence 2001. NYSWF Grand Slam winner. One of the most prolific cruiserweights in the modern era. Collins has been everywhere and seen everything for the past 9 years, since his career began. A kid who kicked the door in for his career, along with this three brothers and one sister, Collins has become reclusive in the past year, and even the news of his former wife Helena's death barely making news. With Collins back in the game, the gap in time between then and now may be bridged sooner than most think.
