Um...yeah! Happy New Year! Would have posted earlier, but I'm just now getting over my hangover...
OK, not really. I was over it a couple of days ago ;) Just wanted to post a little blurb about what's coming up next on Slackpage. I've been pretty slow about updating...hey, quit laughing. After nearly five months in my new apartment, I'm finally getting settled in, and have started putting together a decent work area. I've got a solid desk as the basis, and am going to continue adding various gegaws as I go along. However, what this means in the short term is that I *finally* have a decent place to photograph my models. So in the next couple of weeks, I plan on re-taking a lot of the pics that are littered all over my site, so they'll look less...awful. In accordance with that, I'm also going to be moving some of the pages over to different storage sites, so I don't beat this silly Geocities account to death.
And in case you're wondering, the project closest to completion is my GM Sniper II, White Dingos issue. Thanks to Krunk at the Child of Mecha message boards, I now have the Ez8 rifle needed to be accurate. Now it's just a question of a little clean-up, building the weird WD shield, and painting the sucker.
That's it for now...until next year...I mean next time...

I update this because I was commanded to by Brad Kent. I dare not defy him.
I've had a job since the first of July, and I'm making a lot more money and learning a lot more than I was at the old one, so all is good. I'm a cog in the IS wheel for Cherokee Nation Casinos, doing servers and enterprise-wide backup jobs. We're on the verge of opening our first hotel, which should be pretty cool.
I've been pretty slow in the modelling thing lately, mostly because my apartment isn't set up with any sort of workspace...haven't had the chance to get a good table (or vacuum cleaner) yet! When I do, I'll update the modelling links...I noticed that Yahoo's changed the naming conventions on their Photos pages, so I'll probably just move these to a different location.

Geesh. How time flies when you're having NO fun.
Since around March, I've been unemployed. Just today, I got word that I'm back in the work force. Woohoo! It'll involve a move, so I may be a little out of synch with the whole modelling thing for a while, but I think it'll be a move for the good, yo.
Just to prove that I've not been entirely shiftless during my unemployed stint, check out the In Progress page, where my GM Sniper II, White Dingos version is finally shaping up.

New year, time to clean out the old news!
First thing up is my first model of 2003: White Dingo GM Cannon.
