ALTERNATIVE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

The QTS software is distributed as a zipped file. The WinZip utility is needed to unzip the install file. This utility can be downloaded from here.

QtsPlus Version:

Create a directory to contain the software. The directory can be a name of your choosing. The suggested name is "c:\qtsplus-xcel"

Open the downloaded file with the WinZip utility. Unzip the contents of the appropriate directory.

Qts Standard Version:

Depending on the spreadsheet you are using with the Standard Version of QTS, create one of the following directories

Spreadsheet Package	Directory to Create
Excel 95	c:\qts_xcel
Quattro Pro	c:\qts_qpw

Open the downloaded file with the WinZip utility. Unzip the contents of the appropriate directory.

Note: The Qts Standard Version will not work if the software is installed in directories different from those specified above.
