Hi, welcome to my page !!!

Music is my great love since when I was young. My musical curiosity drive me to listen and enjoy almost every kinds of music even if I love mostly blues and rock of the great and historical bands; specially Pink Floyd, the top for me. A kind of music that actually is abandoned (but I've never forget it) is so called "Space Rock" and the Rockets (my other great love) were the most important band that played this music in ' 70/' 80.

Quasars drew their inspiration (maybe with a little nostalgia)from this musical style and were born in 1995 when I knew Andrea, the other member of the band and author of musics. We have in common the same love for rock. I began to write "The Prophet" (the first song of the Quasars) in 1996. To wrote this lyrics( a prophet that come from the space to warn the humanity from his madness and his trouble) and the other songs, I drew my inspiraction from The Rockets, with my personal interpretation.

I'm the vocalist of the band (thanks to Andrea that convinced me to sing). When I'm singing, I try to give a personal print to something that was a melody in my mind and words on a paper sheet.

I have always been spellbound from what the great songwriters want to say with the lyrics of their songs. Someone write his songs as poetries. Somebody else are able to describe scenes like painters with few strokes of paint-brush (words) anddo that music and lyrics are just one thing that can ewoke an imagine or a sensation without have living it....Or others describe just simply stories of life. Just impotant is try to say something less expected and banal way as possible. It's hard to do! I try to do it with all my limits.

To have completed our first album was been for me a great satisfaction. Our efforts and our engagement they are concretized in something tangible.The comments and the judgments of whom heard our CD besides those of whom has contacted us through the e-mail address that appears on the site have had the effect to stimulate me and to involve even more me in this project.

The entry in the band of a valid musician as Giovanni ( thank to him now we have a real guitar and bass ) and the continous searching for new sounds of Andrea, unites with my need to write about new themes in my lyrics in comparison with previous ( more specific ) : more universal, where everyone can indentify oneself . All of this it's happening during the making of "Lightears", our second CD and it's meaning our evolution, and so I hope our musical improvement.
