Guy was a sweet, fun-loving person who never wanted to grow up. He wanted to be Batman, and went out of his way to help others. He was funny, intelligent, thoughtful and kind, and he loved to draw and write poetry. He was a good father, and a wonderful husband who never seemed to run out of patience. Even in his later years, when illness began to ravage his body, he faced each day with courage, strength and determination. The day his leg was amputated, he came out of surgery making jokes about it. He wasn’t afraid to cry when he needed to, but for the most part, he tried to focus on positive things instead of bad.
