Morgan Le Fay had a little affair with Sir Accolon of Gaul.... She was his little mistress.

Morgan is always worried that Christianity will destroy the old ways and she convinces Arthur to keep the Celtic (British) beliefs.

Morgan ruled a castle of maidens near Edinburgh and was the goddess of and island called "Fortunate Isle". The Island of Apples. Or more commonly known as the Avalon where the nine sisters lived.
She was raised in a convent, but managed to emerge as a powerful magician.
She was a healer and a dark magician, she may have been Arthurs poison, but she was his guardian of death.
