Guidelines for Submitting Poetry:
1.) All submitted poetry must be of your own creation, with you in legal possession of the copyright (meaning a group/company has not purchased ownership of the poem from you). There must be no legal restrictions upon usage of this piece of work.
2.) All entries are subject to my approval. Any poems declared to be inappropriate by a jury of my choosing (due to content, length, etc.) shall not be shown upon my site. I really am not so strict, however, so almost anything shall probably get shown. 3.) At no time am I required to send notification of your poetry being accepted or denied to this website. I may or may not choose to inform you in either event. 4.) Do not send me any manner of e-mail in the event your submission is denied or not shown within a short period of time. Depending on my life situation, I may have not gotten around to putting your poetry on the website yet. 5.) Please do give me some manner of name to give credit to. For the purposes of this website, it does not have to be a real name. A series of initials or a pseudonym will do just as well. Do be warned, however, an inappropriate name shall result in automatic denial of the entry, regardless of its content (the guidelines of what is and isn't appropriate shall be decided by myself and a jury of my choosing). 6.) At no time shall I ever claim ownership to any of these poems. The copyrights are still held by the individual poets, and the poems can be removed by request of their owners. 7.) Send submissions to: QuietZephyrus@hotmail.com. E-mails must either have the poem in the e-mail body (preferably in a common sans-serif or serif font so I can read it ^_^) or attached in a .txt (plain text) document. Failure to do so is grounds for automatic submission denial. No Submitting of Images:
As it says, I am not accepting any manner of image submissions at this time. I have limited file storage space with the services I am working with. As this is a non-profit website (and shall remain non-profit... unless you really want to give me money for it), I cannot afford any better. As GeoCities has been the most reliable free webspace service I've been with, I am not switching to another provider at this time. My apologies to any disappointed by this.
Contacting Me:
Sending word to me is easier than one might think (getting me to reply might be a bit more difficult though...). You can contact me at QuietZephyrus@hotmail.com. Please do put a subject heading on anything you send to me, or I'll probably delete it without looking.
Site Construction:
Incarnation Nine was constructed using rather basic web scripting: HTML and CSS. There is a touch of Javascript here and there, but nothing which would keep the site from being viewed by most common browsers. The scripting is done entirely by myself with the good ol' Notepad program on Windows. Images are in .jpg, .gif, or .png format. These are rather common formats, so I doubt there shall be any problems (except that .png seems to take a bit more time to load). Site is known to function for IE 5.0+ with the recommended resolution being 800 x 600. Site is currently untested under other browsers and resolutions.
