Still doing well with the weekly updates. I'm proud of myself. I worked on the image section of the site a bit, tweaking the pages here and there. Now when you click on the thumbnails, a page comes up with some of my thoughts about the image. From there another link opens the image in a new window (play with it a bit, you'll understand). Not the ideal system, but 'twill do for now. Not all the images links have been changed yet, though. They definitely shall be all done by next week's update.

New image has been placed into the Image Gallery as well. Nothing particularly amazing, just a twist on another image I did before... but I still enjoy it. I have another image in the works which shall hopefully be done by next week.

A curious issue came up while I was looking over the site. Seems images in the image section aren't appearing where and how they should. Same method of display is used in the poetry section which is suffering no problems. Tested it on my own machine and again, no problems. I suspect it has something to do with the fact I don't keep the images on geocities (due to storage and bandwidth issues...). At worst, I'll redesign the entire section to open the images in a new window.

I have continued with the work on the new site design, almost finishing it. I think all I have left to do now is finish a few more page title banners and reconstruct the Dragon's Shrine. All of the artwork for this incarnation is to be entirely by my hand. I've also made it somewhat... childish, one could say... in an attempt to show the beauty of simplicity. It is my strong belief that people have made the world in general much more complicated than it needs to be.

Oh, new content as well. I have put two new images into the Image Gallery. One fairly recent... and one from last year. I plan on digging through my piles of sketches to see if anything else I did last year is worthy of showing.

And true to my word, I've actually obtained some links dealing with the issue of gay rights. These can be found, oddly enough, on the Links page. Only four thus far, but I suspect 'twill expand as I research it a bit more. I may even create a section for it... and all other causes I have decided to put my support behind (I'm also a supporter for Pagan and non-Judeo/Christians rights...) Feel free to send me any links or information you have regarding these issues. Even those regarding such issues outside of the States. I am not so dense to believe the United States is the only country in the world.

'Tis funny. When I first created this site, I had never imagined 'twould ever go anywhere near political issues. 'Twas meant to be a simple place for me to show off my poems and sketches. I have no regrets, though. This is my soapbox and I shall use it as I see fit. This world has been corrupted by fools... if I do nothing, I am just a fool as well.
