About Us
The QUT Liberal Club aims to promote liberal philosophy on campus and to provide a forum for the discussion of liberal viewpoints and principles. The QUT Liberal Club organises campaigns against left-wing dominances and fights for the individual rights and freedoms of each student. We are not about storming mining companies or yelling at police - but prefer to bring about change in a more mature and effective way. QUT Liberals strongly believe in the worth of the indivdual to make their own decisions. This is why the QUT Liberal Club support the proponents of Voluntary Student Unionism (VSU). At the moment, all students, no matter if they can afford it are forced to join thier respective Student Associations. No freedom of choice, no freedom of association!
Being a member of the QUT Liberal Club isn't all politics. We also organise social events and offer great discounts on nightclub passes.
