Scotland, A Land Touched By The Hearts Of Its Beautiful People. My memories of the Doug Hoekstra Spring 2002 England/Scotland Tour are an unfading collection of images, each one sharper than the last. From the granite architecture of Glasgow to the blood red sunset in Portmahomack, each image evokes a memory of the places and faces I encountered. Shot with the use of barren materials and bucket-loads of
goodwill .. here's five images, taken by Jon Pratty, and soon to be seen on
the artwork of the reissue of Rachel's debut album, 'Open Face' ..
Jake Rousham, a professional sound engineer @ Metway Studios, Brighton, has given Rachel three backing tracks, with a view to Rachel writing lyrics and then recording the numbers for possible future release.
Kenny Moreland, a renowned singer-songwriter in his own right, joins Rachel's band-in-the-making, 'Just Bizarre'.
During the first half of this year Rachel Innes will be lending her support to the UK's largest arts-based Festival. Brighton Festival 2002 will include a Young People's Multimedia Day, based around digital video, music, web pages, photography, writing, dance for camera & more. Meeting One & Two (28/01/02 & 18/02/02)
Jon Pratty, 24 Hour Museum Editor, has agreed to oversee Rachel's forthcoming photo shoot. The project will take place over three days, and will include a new shot, commissioned by Rachel, for the re-release, by public demand, of her debut album, Open Face.
