Remember

I stood tall against the grey skies as I watched the ocean mist

Walked bravely down the Promenade, not many sites like this

My hair slicked down my back flattened by the rain

My overcoats not long enough to cover every vein.

I hope that I remember how I felt there that day,

So small against the ocean could be swept away.

Could be swept away, Could be swept away

So small against the ocean, could be swept away?

The wind still haunts me,

I shiver while I sweat,

Swirling all around me

Icy fingers on my neck.

I hope that I remember how I felt there that day,

So small against the ocean could be swept away.

Could be swept away, Could be swept away

So small against the ocean, could be swept away?

I turn and head back to my castle on the hill,

The ocean seems to follow me, I can hear it still,

Telling me to remember how I felt there that day,

So small against the ocean could be swept away.

I hope that I remember how I felt there that day,

So small against the ocean could be swept away.

Could be swept away, Could be swept away

So small against the ocean, could be swept away?
