I strongly object to the use of machine translation software because even though it might appear to be a cheaper alternative than a human translator, the results provided by these programs are far from accurate and it only makes clear that the translator has little knowledge of any of the languages.

Lately, I've been focusing in website translation and localization, which involves the translation of both visible content and XHTML code (Meta Tags, Alt Tags, etc.) in web pages.
It requires also the adaptation of all the scripting components, both client-based or processed by the server (JavaScript, Active Server Pages, PHP, Perl, Databases, etc.).
